IMEI number - what is it?
IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. This number is unique to every GSM and UMTS device. Usually you can find it on the label under the battery or by dialing the *#06# sequence. More info can be found, for example, on Wikipedia site.
I can't find my Nokia on your list...
Some new models on Nokia are not supported by our calculator. Check this list to find out more.
Is version important?
Yes, I belive it is. Some serials won't work with new versions. Nokia guys are aware of unlocking solutions and with release of new software they can block already discovered serials. So it really makes difference if I know version number. To get it just type *#0000# and check what's in second line from the top, under the model name. It starts with letter "V" and then four digits follow, 04.20 for example.
